Yes, I agree that we should have an up-to-date build. Do you actually use the GUI? I only use the command line, which works perfectly fine.
And as it seems that the repo is dead, maybe it would be worth migrating it to github? I'm not familiar with bzr.
I have a mac, I can produce dmg for it.
