Bug Description

While checking "[Bug 987255] " on https://android-build.linaro.org/builds/~linaro-android/snowball-ics-gcc46-igloo-stable-blob/#build=404 build - the email setup works fine 5/5 times - I did email setup, email send , receive, delete emails and remove account. 3/5 times I get a kernel panic, towards the end of the above said activities (not necessarily done in the order above). Note that at the same time , I was also checking the youtube videos over the WLAN just befoe I checked email setup in the same boot cycle. . Attaching logs.

Steps:
======

Boot from sdcard, set a delay in boot , by entering line "ssleep(3) ; " at first line of function "static noinline int init_post(void)" in init/main.c. Play a few videos by connecting to WLAN from youtube.com. then try a email setup, send/rcv emails, delete emails, go to setup etc. and play around the emails, delete email setup etc. then I see the kernel panic. Not sure if the palying of videos is anything related though I doubt it. Attaching all relevant logs.

On initial lookup of logs , it seems the panic comes from:

[ 1198.001251] dma dma0chan24: [d40_control] Channel is not allocated!

Seems to come from static int d40_control in drivers/dma/ste_dma40.c
