Does this link with the other Mendocino bug I just commented on (218024) or is it different?

For getting device IDs - suggest using PSREF. e.g:
https://psref.lenovo.com/Product/IdeaPad/IdeaPad_Slim_3_14AMN8
Go to the model tab and click on the filter icon next to "Machine Type" and that will show what models that platform has.
I couldn't find what an Ideapad 14s was though - doesn't seem to exist. I don't know that model line up at all I'm afraid.
