It's true that we make the thumbnails at a rather low quality level, but with an image that small (192 x 192 pixels), it's not going to help much to use higher quality. Here's a copy of the existing thumbnail:
The new one is more than three times the filesize of the original, but visually isn't very different at all, unless you zoom it to more than 100%. If you want to be able to read the print, you need a larger image than 192 x 192.
