I also have nvidia-smi for checking my nvidia cards info, including temperature.
- output included.

Do you have lm-sensors installed ?
- output of my sensors down.

Maybe a Temp tab in future for displaying all the different temperatures/FAN speeds (including Mobo and HDD) ?
- Display temperatures of all CPU's different cores .

I also read from man nvidia-smi some Nvidia cards have three different air temp sensors. Intake, Exhaust and Board.

I possibly can test with ATI Radeon.
