tlbrown, package descriptions are plain text. It's much easier for others to review your work if you use plain text attachments rather than Microsoft Word documents.

Secondly, while descriptions are plain text, Ubuntu Software Center presents them with a proportional font. For this reason (as well as general tastefulness), it's inappropriate to use equals signs for headings, or wiki-style formatting in general.

Thirdly, the description you have provided is targeted at potential developers of the project itself. The description that appears in USC should be quite different: it should explain to people who might usefully install the package by itself, why they would want to do that. Even if the package is for developers, there will be some differences.

Fourthly, and most importantly, you have completely the wrong program. The Zanshin we're discussing here is not "a library for collaboration over HTTP, WebDAV and CalDAV" <http://chandlerproject.org/Projects/ZanshinProject> but rather a Getting Things Done application <http://www.baixaki.com.br/linux/download/zanshin.htm>.
