Comment 2 for bug 463284

This bug is about the text in Ubuntu Software Centre, not the text in the About: box of File-Roller itself. Although it should probably be made consistent with whatever.

Ideally, Ubuntu would not have an "Archive Manager" at all - the default file manager would seamlessly deal with archives. But if it has to have one, I would suggest "Compressed File Manager" as the best name for the application, for those who might not know what it does.
