I believe this could be considered a paper cut because, at the moment, the user must explicitly seek out the 'Login Window' in the System menu and navigate to the unlikely 'Security' tab.

This slows down the time needed to bring up a usable system and makes the user type username > enter > password > enter.

Unless there is a use case for automatic login (on the local machine) effecting security, I see no adverse reason not to include this.
