Comment 2 for bug 1796464

The steam/steam-devices packages are still outdated in Ubuntu, including latest Ubuntu Focal. They were last updated two years ago. The outdated version (1.0.0.54) does not contain proper udev rules for Steam Controller and VR, does not have conflicts with the official Valve package solved, and has many other issues that the latest (1.0.0.61-2) Debian package has already solved.

This will cause many issues for users (most users will probably use it instead of the official Valve package) when Ubuntu Focal is released. Please, update the steam package before Ubuntu Focal is released or remove it completely (see #1759715).
