I get this bug when attempting to stitch a panorama using Hugin 2011.2 on Windows 7 64 bit, but using the 32bit version of Hugin. This only started after I upgraded to 64 bit Hugin 2011.4
It is probably calling the newer PTstitcher and crashing because the are not backwards compatible.
