Hi,
I'm trying to add a color laserprinter CP2025N on mandriva 2010.0.
First I tried by using bundled hplip-3.9.8 but somehow it does not print black text, only other colors (any help on that)??
I the tried to uninstall them and update to latest hplip-3.9.10.run.
sudo hp-setup finds the printer and PPD file alright but it fails to print anything. This is from cups-error log (a few of my attempts):

Can you replace "foomatic-
As for the communication problem:
It looks like the printer queue is using the hostname. Is it possible to try using the IP address instead?
sudo hp-setup
Select manually discovery, then enter the IP address, etc.
If that fixes it I'll need to do some testing using the hostname rather than the IP and see if there might be some issue.
