This worked in 8.04, but after upgrading to 9.04, then 9.10 it has stopped working.. Scanning works locally, but not remotely, same text as above.

Scanner/printer is Bus 002 Device 006: ID 03f0:7e04 Hewlett-Packard DeskJet F4100 Printer series
(Actually an F4180)

I never tried this while on 9.04, that was just an intermediate step on the way to 9.10 for me.
