Before opening the bug report I reinstalled hplip several times, using the version from the ubuntu repos, the Version for my HP 845C and the Version for my fathers j6410.

This didn't change anything.

And there is no problem with the scaling. It remains at 100% in "all" apps when I change to grey scale.

Sometimes I already used the cartridge cleaning function, but it didn't have any influence on the problem.

So what?
