Regardless whether or not a syslog service filters out
duplicate log messages, first and foremost the applications
which send log messages to a syslog service must care
not to flood the syslog service with unlimited messages
(regadless if same or different messages) at the same time.
Any news here?
Note that the worst side-effect of this is that
those zillions of log messages fill up the harddisk.
