Bug Description

In OfficeJet 6500 when printing in double sided mode (duplex) the page content appears to be pushed down by one line. There will be a extra space in the top margin and at the bottom text will often be cut off. The pages print out fine when using single sided mode. This problem also only occurs when printer is added via HPLIP 3.9.6, when printer is added via CUPS it works fine.

Hi Domel,

I would suggest you to download and install latest version of hplip 3.9.12 from http://hplipopensource.com/hplip-web/index.html .

Before installing the latest version remove all the printers which are present in Cups web interface http://localhost:631 as well as HP Device Manager and then uninstall the older version of hplip 3.9.6 from package manager and then proceed to install the latest version.

Thanks,
