Hello Aaron,
I have this device too. Do you have any update on the status of support?
I'm an open source developer without any experience with hplip whatsoever, but I am pro helping projects by fixing problems I'm having myself. So I'd like to know what's going on now; also, once I've found some free time I'll make a network dump with Wireshark if nobody's done that yet, and maybe check out hplip's source if there's some place to start with (coding or anything).
