I just connected the printer, installed hplip and installed the printer drivers with hp-setup. i also checked for missing dependencies with hp-check. These are now all installed.
I'm running Fedora 22 x86_64.
Most of the printer features work fine, except when trying to print a PDF with evince. (There is no problem printing the same PDF with hp-print, google-chrome or lpr.) This happens even with the simplest PDF files, like the one attached.
On the CUPS jobs page (localhost:631), I get to see the following:

In the HP Device manager, it claims that the "Print job has completed" (see attached screenshot 1) but in the section "Printer control", it mentions the status "Stopped" (see attached screenshot2 ).
