Comment 8 for bug 1348960

Same problem here with my Deskjet F2180 all-in-one.
It seems to be a problem with hplip as the printer still works if I ask it to print anything from, for example, libreoffice in both black and colour.
hplip just will not see the colour cartridge, nor will it print the Test pge from the first tab of hp-toolbox.

I have just tried the most recent hplip version, 3.14.10 direct from the website and installed that. I have run hp-doctor and hp-check with no problems noted and final output says:-

but as soon as I try to look at anything about the printer in hp-toolbox I get the error again, and bancaldo's trick in post above does not work
