Comment 15 for bug 469376

I am Jeff, and my email is <email address hidden>. I have a compaq presario r3000 series laptop, the usb internet stick named in this issue, and I am a newbie.

When I place this stick in, Ubuntu 9.10 locks up solid, and I am forced to power down to get a reboot.

Has this issue been resolved ?

I have been searching through much documentation and postings but I am unclear whether this issue has been resolved, and what steps I need to take.
