Bug Description

The setting CREATE_INSTANCE_FLAVOR_SORT looks like it has no affect anymore, possibly due to the change to using the angular launch instance version?

This is using the queens dashboard

Looking into the code I wonder why we don't do the the ordering of flavors in api/nova.py

Currently the sort_flavor code is only applicable to the old style django create instance form.

Could we just move the sorting to the api and so all flavor lists will be sorted?

There is no specific reason that we didn't move the sort flavor code into api/nova.py so far. I think this is just a feature gap between the two launch instance implementation.
