@Pawel: Seems to be the behavior for any table with pagination ("Next" button). I tested it out for Admin > Images, and editing an item on a subsequent page always refreshes to the first page.

Also, Gerrit will automatically link and change the status to 'In Progress' once you submit a patch, no need to automatically change. :)
