wish: HomeBank Report Account balances for each month

I find that there is no report I can get a listing of all Account balances by month.
The nearest I can get is what income I had or what I spent, but no report takes into account any transfer of funds between accounts. I found it useful in the past to monitor the ups and downs of the balance over time to ensure I have sufficient funds for projected (especially for not yet entered) bills.

I found an old bug opened back in 2015 detailing the lack of transfers not included in any report [#1495070 internal transfer not considered in Statistics Report.. Invalid (0 comments) last updated 2015-09-14] for 5.0.3 so thought best to open a new one for 5.4.2.

THE REQUEST:
Can a report be added to show the actual balance of each/all accounts (or optional a selected one) at the end of each month that takes transfers into account? Potentially an option to include or omit closed accounts (default being to include them so historical data is viewable).

i.e. similar to using Statistics Report - Mode: 'Time', View by: 'Account', with Interval: 'Month' that shows income and expenditure for each month. This one to show total balance as at end the of each month, which would include any transfers between accounts.

if your request is to get the statistics report time by account with transfer, you just need to edit the filter > status and include transfer

Thanks for that tip, yes I can get transfers included. Using Report using settings "Time Account Month" I can get the net change (-ve or +ve) to each account for each month but I don't see the absolute balance "as at end-month", including the start balance, at the end of each month.

Also:
This report cannot be exported to CSV which would allow me to use Excel to get the absolute balance (& then graph it). Of course, I would have to enter the start balance for each account into excel as well.

My thought / what I'd like to achieve:
I am wondering if there is an easier way to get a report on the Account Balance of every account at the end of each month, one that could then be graphed as/when desired for a visual representation of account balances. Having to add numbers together, and remembering to select "include transfers" each time you extract that report, makes it not the easiest of "reports" to get.

Would be good to have the Start Balance for each account included (with end-of-month date being month prior to first transaction, which is what I assume the account records assume as do I) in this report.
e.g. for me, I've got all transactions from April 2020 in my file. The start balances I've entered therefore are what each account's balance was on 31 March 2020.

Thanks for this report, just what I wanted.

One question - "Total" column is still there. "Average" has gone though. You were going to suppress/remove both.
