wish: graph several account balance with pie charts

It seems the Statistics report only considers the transactions of an account to calculate balances. The problem arises for the Account -> Balance report option : most of the time, accounts are created with an initial opening balance, but this amount is not taken into account in the calculation of the Balance and hence the calculation of the balance is wrong (it only counts the sum of transactions...)

Some accounts do not have any transaction at all (e.g. real estate assets) and therefore these accounts don't appear in my Statistics report, which is supposed to give a snapshot of one's net worth.

this report is to track expense income, not the balance (you have the balance report for that).

the type button is simply here to select what to graph

Yes, but the output of the balance report is one single parameter, plotted against time.

The need I am referring to is to be able to show the total balance of each account at the present time, in a doughnut chart.

If you think this bug is invalid then, should I open a new wish? Where would you see this new report type then (stats, balance)?

again, this is called 'Balance' but it should be called 'Total' or 'Result' (of expense + income column)

let me think about this, don't know where to put it now.
