Comment 13 for bug 1006743

There is a version of hipdnsproxy on the resolvconf branch now that uses resolvconf(8) to update /etc/resolv.conf if it is present. This seems to solve the problem on Debian wheezy (with resolvconf, without dnsmasq) and Ubuntu precise (with resolvconf and network-manager, which implies dnsmasq in some capacity).

More work is required to handle all corner cases so that this can be merged to trunk.
