Comment 1 for bug 215341

I'm not convinced of it's utility. I, for one, am bothered by too much UI interaction as I move my mouse around.

Perhaps an option tab with several such options for those who would prefer them. Such as auto expand on mouse over, and an opacity change on mouse over (handy when you change your background to something dark and your menu is transparent)
