Bug Description
Binary package hint: nautilus
When using nautilus in lookup mode, i.e. browse for a file for opening or selecting, the list of files is always in list mode. It would be very handy when one can change to icon mode, because then there's automatically a preview.
This has especially much value when browsing for an image, say for adding an attachmant in a gmail message within firefox.
Note. special lookup screens for example eog already have a preview, but this is a special mode, this should be generic.

Thank you for your bug. What version of Ubuntu do you use. What is the "lookup mode"? Could you make a screenshot of the bug?
