I am not sure about the best default color for overdue tasks. Perhaps a darker red or purple? But blue and grey are also fine.
Quick feedback on plugin usability (in case you are interested in): I ended up using white for the background of tasks I don't have to worry about. Actually I wonder whether those tasks need any color coding at all. Anyway, the user is free to choose now. Thanks again.
