Bug Description
When using hotkeys to change screen brightness, it's changed twice. That is, I have 4 different brightness levels, but I should have 8.
When the acpi video module is blacklisted, brightness is changed as expected (I get the 8 levels).

I receive the exact same issue on a Dell Inspiron 1521.
