I hope it doesn't, it's a good application, it just needs some work being done on it, to bring it to a more complete state.
And from that point on, it's just bug hunting and the addition of new features (as those already mentioned in the blueprints section, as well as future additions to the same section).

Also, the project leaders could be busy with their lives (which is not uncommon for open source free software projects done in your spare time) and they may not have time to work on the project right now. This should not be a discouragement, since other capable developers could step in and do some nice work with the current branch (i.e. finish what the devs have started doing, like that port to the GNOME3 code), and, possibly, make some progress towards versions for other operating systems as well (but that's perhaps wishful thinking on my part).

Anyway, I hope to see this promising project get some updates once in a while, but even if it doesn't, as I said, new developers can always pick up from where the project initiators/developers left, and thus help the program get a proper new release.

P.S. Also, the translators of the application seem to be doing a good job bringing more localizations to light, which could be said to be some good motivation to keep the coding work going.
