I know it's been a while, but do you have any updates on this?

I also have an idea that's not quite a solution but would make things a little easier. Would it be possible to add a line, 'Mark all as read,' in the Messaging Menu under GMail Watcher? It would be a nice quick way to get rid of the blue icon.
