I'm currently working on something else, but I'll change the behavior so that keyring is accessed from outside the thread.
Will probably fix next week.

Does this happen every time you try to start the app or does it work sometimes?

If you are unable to use it, you can edit the settings manually to make it work without using keyring.

go to file:///home/USERNAME/.local/share/desktop-couch/couchdb.html in your browser and find GmailWatcher db.
Then edit the 'keyring_false' item and make it true.

that should fix it for now.
