The author hasnt mentioned anywhere in github what the license is. I have stopped using it as the author hasnt made any changes in the last 3 months, and it stopped working with newer versions of youtube-dl, but primarily because i have found a better and more complete youtube downloading app called ytd-gtk < https://code.google.com/p/ytd-gtk/downloads/list > and would prefer you add this one instead. You might like to also add the gplv3 clip grab - clipgrab.org.
