What is the latest stable version? I can update the driver's JAR.

As we want to provide an out-of-the box solution it's probably better to keep the driver in the JAR but you can build the toolkit without it by removing the "<include name="mysql-connector*.jar"/>" line in the build.xml and call "ant toolkit"
