Tested an amd64 Jaunty installation for this issue (Beta plus updates), and the results are GOOD. My original bug report is a duplicate of this bug:

Not only can I NOT generate a key repeat now, but when the Caps and Ctrl key are swapped, the Ctrl key triggers the Caps Lock led which is nice.
