Results of testing on a Dell Inspiron 1420. Installed 20080829 daily-live amd64 desktop (Intrepid Alpha 5) with kernel 2.7.27.
I am unable to reproduce the problem. I performed the installation, switched the Caps Lock/Ctrl keys and spent 10 minutes trying to get an unwanted key repeat. Continual use will confirm it is resolved.
