Bug Description
Binary package hint: gcalctool
gcalctool (at least the version 5.26.0 that comes with Jaunty) has no "x^y" button when the view is switched to "programming". In scientific mode such a button exists and works fine. I am a programmer myself and i do "x to the power of y" calculations quite often and i need the different numeral systems (bin, oct, dec, hex) as well, so i cannot use the scientific view.

You can still access this function by typing '^'. Are you saying it needs a button so it can be accessed by the mouse?
