Auto enhance crashes gallery app and deletes photo

Latest image #113 on Nexus 4

Steps to reproduce:-

Take a photo
Open gallery
Tap photo you just took
Bring up the menu and choose 'edit'
Select 'Auto enhance' from the menu

Expected behaviour:-

Magic makes my picture look better

Actual:-

Gallery app crashes. Picture is gone from filesystem.

To fix this, bug #1011710 should be fixed

Current status is, that it does not crash anymore. But the UI is blocked
