Please attach snapshot, because i am not sure what component is lagging...
Can you additionally show output of ohai:

ohai | grep fqdn
"fqdn": "node-43.test.domain.local"

and

hostname --fqdn

I tried to check on 6.0 setup, and everything looks fine
