Additional information requiring an explanation: For the past several weeks session restore has worked perfectly, restoring each of my 18 Firefox windows to the correct KDE desktop (seven separate desktops of the 20 I use.)

Can someone who is familiar with the workings of Firefox and session manager explain how that can be? I've seen this happen sporadically before, both at work and at home, but I'm getting consistently correct restores for past the nine or ten times I've turned on the computer. I think it seems to work if I respond to the session restore window from the same desktop I was in at shutdown--I haven't experimented because I don't want to disturb anything (I'm enjoying getting the restore correct!) Is there something about KDE that interacts with Firefox to make the correct restore?

I'd love to go looking at code but all my programming has been with text (scientific stuff that produces numbers that get visualized by other aplications written by others.)
