Comment 32 for bug 684982

Every Unix Ffx power user may file this issue earlier or later...

Since there'a a difference in behaviour depending on the way, Ffx was quit, here are my two reports:

If Ffx is terminated from the user directly, and started later on, all windows, that were distributed over serveral desktops will appear on the current desktop (one screen, several desktops, KDE4 WM)

If Ffx is terminated from the window manager (KDE4 again) due to logout from session, the windows are restored on the correct desktops with the correct dimensions, but the content is mixed up: all tabs of one window appear in another. Interestingly, there was an exception: today all went fine. This might be related to testing https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=842170, that I performed yesterday, where I had to distribute the ~30 windows to the correct desktops manually.

Since these are pretty distinct differences in behaviour, my humble guess is, these are two bugs at least. And while Ffx isn't that far away from full user satisfaction in this regard, it's not there, yet.

This is checked with Version 41.0.2, and applies to many predecessors.
