When you switch to full screen mode, no menu is shown when using Alt+letter shortcuts. Pressing e.g. Alt+F opens a hidden file menu and you are not able to leave full screen mode with F11. Instead you have to press Escape to close this hidden menu.

If we want to support showing these menus, they should be visible. Otherwise they shouldn't be opened in hidden state.
