Hm. I think this bug has been hijacked with speak of Xdrivers and crashes... that's not what this is about.
This is not about firefox crashing (at all) or the changes that happen when one uses nVidia's binary driver instead of Xorg's nv driver. This is about Ubuntu's firefox performing _slowly_ compared to official mozilla builds.
I for one, would like to know if its possible to just disable pango as a default, given the ginormous performance increase that takes place from this.
