Firefox ver. 2 freezes

Bug Description

Firefox v.2 freezes, have to manually shut down, when restarting firefox, it asks to restore or start new session, only happens in kubuntu\ubuntun not on windows machine.

First of all, thanks for your interest in reporting bugs, sometimes things don't get noticed if people don't bring them to the developer's attention.

Some additional information about your problem would be really helpful however, so please bear with some questions that may seem stupid! I'm not sure your problem has to do with gnome-do, as your bug report states. Correct me if I'm wrong, but you're browsing the web with Firefox, and then it crashes, right? If Firefox is already up and running, the problem is not with gnome-do.

Also, what version of Ubuntu are you running? Firefox 3 comes preloaded on Hardy (8.04) and Intrepid (8.10) - this is important because Mozilla is not planning to continue supporting Firefox 2 for much longer.
