I do definitely think this bug should be fixed, and that it is way overdue. I do not discredit someone who gets pissed over being mad at the status either. However I would like to point out that there is a workaround for this bug.

1) copy the link (right-click --> "copy link location")
2) clear the address bar (ctrl-l)
3) type "view-source:" and then paste in the url (ctrl-v)
3) enter

However IMHO this is inadequate, and the bug should still be fixed as described.
