From today's triage call:
 - might be able to ship the DB w/Ubuntu?
 - might be due to cost of a sync?
 - will probably suck for network mounted profiles
 - karl thinks he's seen it in gentoo

Dave thinks that the easiest way to solve this is let the DB have more cache memory, but that will potentially affect our memory stats in the firstrun case.

Do we know any SQLLite gurus?
