This isn't just a Win2K bug, it's also evident on Windows XP and Linux. Not
sure about other platforms -- assuming they are also affected.

This is starting to become a very high profile bug, one that has turned off at
least one person I know from Firefox. I got him to switch with 1.0PR, but he's
into Halo 2 (as a huge number of my friends now). With the way Bungie.net is
designed (a very central part to Halo 2's multiplayer), it's painfully slow in
Firefox and fine in IE.
