It's not tied to NVIDIA or Vista... on my Linux computer with NVIDIA graphics card Firefox works very fast, when on Vista computer with NVIDIA card scrolling on such pages is slow. I have 512MB of RAM on my graphics card on Linux computer, and 256MB RAM on Vista computer - maybe this is the issue? I've also noticed, that Firefox's performance drops dramatically when not on default zoom level.

I have lags when page is shrinked or enlarged, but when it's on defualt zoom (CTRL+0) it works perfectly.

I think this bug is tied to slow zooming on Linux and slow performance when zoom level is not at default (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=468726).
