Yes, I can agree. It's not because of large images, because they are handled properly. Mozilla works lightning fast even with very complex websites, but only if fixed elements are removed.

It's something that has to be fixed, as well as resizing pages (when you resize page once, after that it works properly, but it's very slow if you start resizing for the first time).

I think this can solve all performance issues with Firefox.
