Comment 206 for bug 125970

With this testcase, I detect a small amount of slowness compared to scrolling this bug report. I have a feeling it's dependent on system specs, but with my approx. 2-year old hardware it's barely detectable. With a 600 MHz PIII, it might be a different story.

One thing I notice is that the scrolling decelerates when it gets to the last 5 or so lines at the top or bottom of the page. This does not happen on a page without the fixed elements.

I see very similar performance with Fx2 and Fx3 RC.
