Ahh okay sorry I misunderstood.
Can you please post the full output of the following commands when the discrete GPU is disabled and I'll see if I can reproduce it using this output and try and fix the problem:
aticonfig --list-adapters
aticonfig --od-gettemperature --adapter=0
aticonfig --pplib-cmd "get fanspeed 0"
